About Us

Hi, my name is Jordan and I’m the founder of Fells & Fungi.

My fascination with mushrooms started long before this business existed. I’ve always been drawn to the strange and beautiful world of fungi and the way they quietly shape the landscapes around us.

Today I work as a foraging instructor with Wild Food UK, guiding people through woodlands, fields and fells and showing them the incredible variety of wild food growing right under our feet. One of the best parts of the job is seeing people experience that moment of discovery when they realise how much nature has to offer.

Over time that interest in wild mushrooms naturally led me into learning how to grow them too. What began as curiosity soon turned into a real passion for cultivating gourmet mushrooms and experimenting with different species.

Fells & Fungi grew out of that passion.

The aim is simple: to help more people experience the joy of mushrooms — whether that’s discovering them in the wild or growing them at home. Our grow kits are designed to be simple, reliable and beginner-friendly, making it easy for anyone to grow fresh gourmet mushrooms in their own kitchen.

 

For me, mushrooms are more than just food. They’re a way of connecting people back to nature and encouraging curiosity about the living world around us.
